"Allow It Rudegirl, The Xmas Decorations Are Making Me Depressed"!

So the festiveties have drawn to a close and the final few days of 2008 are ringing out. Yes 2009 begins in a few days ( Three days to be precise) and the excitement over who and what will be hot is in the back of everyones minds. But hang on! What about christmas? It only ended a few days back and yet the evidence of its happening just looks wrong. The tree, the lights, all the tacky cheap tinsel that less than a week earlier seemed so glamorous and welcome, it all just looks out of place and mildly depressing. The tv adverts are making out like it's still christmas, with all their christmas film premiers and drama specials, Hour long coronation street and eastenders episodes! That's not a good thing? No-one needs that at christmas, An extra half hour of corrie isnt making anyone happy. Not even the people that watch thoses soaps normally want or need that.

It's always hard to let christmas go, to accept that it's over and that it's time to take down the decorations and get on with life. Well that's how i've always felt. It's like when a programme that you watch alot ends for a few months before another series starts again. I watch big brother and x factor, because they are both rad programmes, and the people that dont like them are the people that at one point or deep down does infact like the programme and slags it off because that's the cool thing to say, or in one word 'Morons'. This year i just want the decorations out of my sight, back up in the loft until next year. As with alot of people im sure, i will not be missing christmas this year (especially the corrie feature length)

This friday 2nd january Celebrity Big Brother 2009 starts. Good Times Rudegirl!
