This album is so so oh so sick. Like , really amazingly brilliant. Definately the best album of 2007. Everyone in england should have this on their ipod, it really is outstanding. Best tracks in my mind are 'Henry Went To Paris', 'New York, New York, New York', 'Gallery' and definately 'Hanover Start Clapping'. But there is seriously not a bad moment on this record. Tellison deserve so much love for 'Contact!Contact'!

Take That - The Circus
01. The Garden
02. Greatest Day
03. Hello
04. Said It All
05. Julie
06. The Circus
07. How Did It Come To This
08. Up All Night
09. What Is Love
10. You
11. Hold Up A Light
Take That's second album since their comeback in 2007 with 'Beautiful World', and on first listen it's hard to get through the whole album without skipping through after the first 30 seconds of each song. But as with alot of the albums released in 2008, after giving it another few goes you find an actually pretty decent album. Admittedly, the first release from the latest take that effort 'Greatest Day' is the best song and is sadly the only stand out song of the album. The rest are good but are just all to similar and at points, extremely bland and seemingly neverending, which is dissapointing compared to 'beautiful world' which was full of catchy, upbeat stand out songs. That aside it's worth listening to, plus its by 'Take That', so you have to love it!

"Allow It Rudegirl, The Xmas Decorations Are Making Me Depressed"!
So the festiveties have drawn to a close and the final few days of 2008 are ringing out. Yes 2009 begins in a few days ( Three days to be precise) and the excitement over who and what will be hot is in the back of everyones minds. But hang on! What about christmas? It only ended a few days back and yet the evidence of its happening just looks wrong. The tree, the lights, all the tacky cheap tinsel that less than a week earlier seemed so glamorous and welcome, it all just looks out of place and mildly depressing. The tv adverts are making out like it's still christmas, with all their christmas film premiers and drama specials, Hour long coronation street and eastenders episodes! That's not a good thing? No-one needs that at christmas, An extra half hour of corrie isnt making anyone happy. Not even the people that watch thoses soaps normally want or need that.
It's always hard to let christmas go, to accept that it's over and that it's time to take down the decorations and get on with life. Well that's how i've always felt. It's like when a programme that you watch alot ends for a few months before another series starts again. I watch big brother and x factor, because they are both rad programmes, and the people that dont like them are the people that at one point or deep down does infact like the programme and slags it off because that's the cool thing to say, or in one word 'Morons'. This year i just want the decorations out of my sight, back up in the loft until next year. As with alot of people im sure, i will not be missing christmas this year (especially the corrie feature length)
This friday 2nd january Celebrity Big Brother 2009 starts. Good Times Rudegirl!

The Loving KInd - Promo
Girls Aloud are the biggest pop group around right now, and that's definately no bad thing, but they are quite literally everywhere. A month or two back the girls released in many peoples opinions one of their best singles since the beggining their blossoming careers. That came in the form of 'The Promise', with its retro sound and sixies style music video and giving 'Girls Aloud' their first number one in four years. On January 12th They will be releasing their twentieth single and second release off their latest album 'Out Of Control'. The music video is doing the rounds on the music channels and from the sounds of it is going to be yet another successful girls aloud tune. 'The Loving Kind' is sure to be played fifty times a day on radio one, which is good i spose as it really is a tune, but will it do what the promise did and top the charts, another Girls Aloud number one? Well who knows but hopefully it will. 2009 is going to another massive 'Girls Aloud' Year!

Christmas Day is only four sleeps away and as yet, the pre-christmas excitement, which i would usually get half way through october, is yet to kick in. I dont know whether it's a sign of getting older, if so, next stop is death. Bad Times Rudegirl!

2. Please Come Back Home
3. Daddy's Gone
Genre: Indie
I do like 'Glasvegas', well kinda. It's like, i really wanna like them more because i love the single 'Geraldine' and 'Please Come Back Home' is pretty sick too, but when i try to listen to the album i find it just all sounds way too dreary. Every track has that depressing shit load of reverb guitar and the same phil spector esk drum beats. It's one of those albums where you find it hard to tell when one tracks ended and another one has started, and that's never a good thing so im kinda split over this. I really dont understand why they get so much hype from NME, i mean i really can not see them getting any bigger than they are right now. Im reckoning it's going to be the same old story of a band releases debute album, NME love it, people love it, radio on cant get enough of it, then second album equals major flop. But before everyone will have to make deal with the supposedly epic debeut album. Good Times Rudegirl.

JLS - The X Factor
First things first, I love JLS, they are totally sick. Awsome dancers, good looking, got style and are most importantly amazing singers, well one of them is anyway. I've been wanting them to win as soon as i saw them audition and i cant believe they've actually got to the final, and that's not because they're bad or anything but because they are a group, and as everyone who watches knows, groups never do well. JLS have broken that trend and could possible become the first group to win 'The X Factor 2008', which would be great thing not only because JLS are rad, but because im pretty sure louie walsh becoming the winning judge this year, would totally rub simon cowells smirk right off his not-so charming face. JLS caused controversy yesterday in the troubled town of croyden when they went to fairfield halls to perform at the 1500 people capacity in a promotional bid to encourage the pleasant and harmless people to vote for them at this weeks grand final. When i found out this happened yesterday evening i was proper gutted that i had missed this, after reading todays headlines in the paper i am now so glad i didn't attend. It appears that the people who set up the gig had made it a free show, causing an unprecidented number of people to show up and catch a glimpse of the tv stars in action. This did not go down to well when 2000 people showed up, with 500 hundred or so of them not being let in. Apperently there was scenes of violence, people getting badly injured, people getting clostrophoebic and of course people getting trampled on, four people had to be taken to a near by hospital, good times. The papers make this sound like some kind of battle that would of taken part during the vietnam war. Lets just say that i would not be in a any way surprised if in actual fact the "people getting trampled on" was in fact someone accidentally (the youths of croyden would never do anything to physocally hurt anyone else intentionally, they are so friendly), and the so-called "scenes of violence!!!", well just didnt happen. You see thats how brilliant JLS are. It takes a certain talent to cause anarchy in croyden. VOTE JLS RUDEGIRL!

The Killers debut album 'Hot Fuss' is by far their best! It seems since then they've just been going steadily downhill, which is a real shame because this album really is brilliant and if they were still releasing albums like this they would be legends. Alas, they are not.

Favorite Tracks: 1. Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll
2. Tranquilize
3. All The Pretty Faces
At first i thought the whole idea of it was to be a greatest hits but when it came out i realised it was made up of basically b-sides and bonus tracks. Which, seen as i have the first two albums, was a really good thing. This is really good for the people who really like 'The Killers' and have their other albums.

10. Goodnight, Travel Well
11. A Crippling Blow
Favorite Tracks: 1. The World We Live In
2. Spaceman
3. Joy Ride
I've been really excited about this album for a long time, despite 'Sam's Town' being any good. But i was so disapointed when i herd 'Human', their first release from the album, it's so so bad. When i got the album i played it with low expectations. It 's one of thoses albums where you have to listen to it a few times before you can get in to it. By the third time i played it i was totally loving it. For obvious reasons they're never going to release anything as good as their debut 'Hot Fuss', but it's definately a hell of a lot better than 'Sam's Town'. I still hate 'Human' and dont get why they released it, but at the same time it lowers the expectations so that when you listen to the album you will realise it's truely amazing. Still full of synths and that rock n roll style of guitar, but to the point where they've made it sound good and unique in their own way, rather than just a ripoff of something from the eighties. Quality album and their next single will mean there will be something else decent in the charts other than the rad 'Girls Aloud'. Good Times Rudegirl!

3. Bright Lights
Genre: Indie
Easily one of the best albums of 2008, but thought with the whole new single 'Jennifer/Blood Gets Thin' i'd give it its own title instead of just putting under 'My Favorite Albums Of The Year'. Anyway, like i said, such a sick album thats full of addictive catchy riffs and melodies you'll be humming for a long time. There's something about 'Pete And The Pirates' sound that is so unique and diffent compared to the other indie bands, and i have no idea what it is, but i absolutely love it. Great band, underated and for some reason not very well known, which in a way is great.

Sleep Deprivation Rudegirl???
I dont know why i have to carry this burden through life, it not fair and i definately do not deserve it (as im such a nice guy who always donates money to children in need and various other charity based organisations that help the starving children of africa, dont ask me why, its just my style). Right now it's 2am and i have absolutely no way of getting to sleep. This is the case every night and has been since i can remember.
Here's my problem:
Every night i find it impossible to get to sleep untill around 3am! Like, no matter how hard i try i cant do it. I have one hundred percent envy and hate for those people who can just go to bed at ten or eleven at night and just fall asleep. When i ask people how they do it, they just say things like "i dunno really, i just kinda drift off". But i dont know what they're talking about, "DRIFT OFF", what the hell is that, i dont know what "drift off" is, because i've never experienced the wonderous feeling that is "drift off". It's the same with "oh i slept like a baby" or "oh i slept like a log". I have no idea what all these sleep based thrases feel like which makes me feel like an outsider. Because i can never get too sleep, i always find myself in these aggrivating scenarioes, of which this is the most common and frustrating: If it gets to around 2am and im still no closer to getting to sleep as i was seven hours ago walking around sutton, I put my earphones in and start listening to music! Now this is NEVER a good idea yet for some reason (being that im a moron) i always do this hoping that this time will be the one that works. So yeah i plug my earphones in, put my ipod on shuffel and skip through until i find a relaxing song that will, in theory, send me to sleep. Now usually half way through the song i will slip into a state of total nothingness, where my mind will be totally blank and ill forget im trying to sleep and everything that surrounds me, where i'll have my eyes shut and just totally lost in the song thats playing, where my ears are just tuned in to absolutely every individual noise in the song. This is a really good state to be in and does genuinly help the process of falling asleep. However, it doesnt stay this way for long, because of the state im in at this point, i dont realise that the song is seconds away from ending and thats when shit just goes bad. A couple of nights ago everything above was happening, i was in that pathetic state of mindblank when, of all the possible choices my ipod could of choosen, the 'Boyz Noize Terror Remix' (Terror being my initial reaction to this travesty) of Late Of The Peir's 'Focker' started playing! Needless to say, it scared the living shit out of me and i was now more awake than ever, so cheers boyz noize.
People have these lists they make called things like 'Top 10 Things To Do Before I Die'. These lists are usually created by depressed fifty year old men going through a mid-life crisis due to being left by their lifelong wife who was always told she could do better but only just realised it and, therefore, had an affair with some dude twenty years younger. But oh no, im not quite ready to go down that route just yet! Alas, number one on my 'Top Ten Things To Do Before I Die' shall be to 'Drift Off' and then 'sleep like a baby' all in one night, because i dont believe i will have lived life to the max until i've had those experiences behind me. To most, that will just sound like a retarded number one to choose, i mean where's the bunjy jumping off the eiffel tower or the swimming with dolphins, but if not being able to go to sleep at a decent elegant time makes me retarded, then yes, i am retarded. GOOD TIMES RUDEGIRL!

Pete And The Pirates - Jennifer EP
1. Jennifer
2. Blood Gets Thin
Favorite track: Blood Gets Thin
Genre: Indie
The latest offering from Reading's indie rockers 'Pete and The Pirates. Two Words, "Thank God". Their first album 'Little Death' was awsome and judging by this new EP the next albums going to be even better. I dont personally think 'Jennifer should be the A-side to this record, i mean it's really good, dont get me wrong their, but 'Blood Gets Thin' is so so so sick. As soon as the bass drum comes in over the opening riff you know it's gonna be a quality tune. Only piece of critiscm i can think of is that the opening bass riff reminds me of 'Trash' by 'The Whip, and no- one needs reminding of that.

Girls Aloud show 13th december/New Single Rudegirl
Oh Yes!!! I dont care what people want to say about Girls Aloud, they are awsome and are underated. Anyway, December 13th on ITV1, there will be a one off show titled 'The Girls Aloud Party' in which they will be performing a load of their hits, including stuff from their latest album 'Out Of Control'. They will also be chatting to showbiz mates aswell as performing 'Never Miss A Beat/Sound Of The Underground' with the 'Kaiser Cheifs'. Alas, with all good things comes the downside! In this case the downside comes in the form of acoustic guitar strumming pleb 'James Morrison', who will be performing his latest dreary effort. The show will be aired between 'The X Factor finale show and The X Factors Results Show' (where we all find out who that lucky boy or girl shall be- good times), making saturday 13th december a cheryl cole night. GOOD TIMES RUDEGIRL!
Also Tonight on 4music at 7.00pm and channel 4 at 11.05pm, the music video for the next 'Girls Aloud' single titled 'The Loving Kind' will be premiered! The track was co-written by pet shop boys own 'Neil Tennant'.

Christmas Tree Lights Rudegirl
I dont know whether any one else out there has the same problems, but for me it seems every year this happens to me. Ok I am a massive xmas fan, like i proper love it, and christmas decoration give off good vibes and lighten everything up, so every year i put up my xmas tree on the 1st of december. Apart from i never actually get it completed untill the next day. This always due to the xmas tree lights not all working. Every year when i get them out and test to check they are always working, there's always a few that wont light up. Now sometimes you can replace a couple of bulbs with the odd spare that you find, but this year that would not happen. I would love to know how they break, because when xmas ends and i take them down, i gently fold them up and put them back in the box, and then place them in my loft (which btw me and my mate renevated earlier this year so is now looking pretty damn good). So at some point during the year they just to not work which pisses me off imensely. This year however it went a step further! Not only did all the lights not work, but when i put them on the tree, to see how bad it looked with 10 or so lights not working, they literally set my tree on fire! Luckily i noticed this early on and so no noticeable damage was done to the tree, but thats not the point. Since when did xmas tree lights decide that they no longer wanted to serve there purpose of lighting up a fake tree and making things look festive, and infact attempt to turn my xmas tree into one massive candle and burn my house down and everything in it.
Thats just not criket!
